Sun Valley Raisins is a family-owned operation with deep roots in California’s agricultural landscape. The Moles family has been in the raisin business for over 70 years, growing into one of the largest raisin producers in the state. Located in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley—an ideal climate zone for grape growing—the farm has thrived by combining generational farming knowledge with innovation. In 2009, our family built a state-of-the-art processing facility and formally established Sun Valley Raisins, Inc., now one of the largest vertically integrated grower-processors in its peer group. Our early adoption of mechanical harvesting led to sweeter, richer-tasting raisins that are now shipped around the globe.

At Sun Valley Raisins, we grow and source all of our raisins from California’s San Joaquin Valley, with most Flame raisins coming from farther south near Bakersfield. As a vertically integrated operation, we grow, harvest, and process everything in-house. Grapes are harvested and sun-dried in the field on paper trays, then frozen until they’re ready to be processed. When an order comes in, the raisins are cleaned using a no-chemicals line and run through advanced sorting equipment. Sun Valley is certified organic, and also holds certifications for BRC A+, HACCP, and Halal. Our commitment to safety, quality, and consistency makes our raisins trusted by customers around the world.
