Committed to freshness, sustainability, and humane farming, they offer grass-fed beef, free-range chicken and pork, and seafood harvested from the icy Pacific Ocean.

Royal Ranch, the sustainable meat production brand of Royal Family Farms in Royal City, WA is a multi-generational family farm that's been in operation since 1962, when Wells and Loriol Allred moved to Washington to cultivate the land. What started as a small row crop farm has grown into a multi-generational business producing potatoes, apples, cherries, sweet corn, wheat, alfalfa, prime beef, dairy, and honey. Their son, Jerry Allred, and his wife, Chris, expanded the farm, eventually acquiring 800 acres and founding Royal Dairy in 2009. Today, their children manage different aspects of the business: Derek oversees orchards, Tyson focuses on ground crops, and Austin manages cattle. Together, they have pioneered large-scale regenerative farming, creating a closed-loop system where crops feed livestock, and manure is used to enrich the soil.
Practices
Regenerative Agriculture
Royal Family Farms integrates dairy, beef, orchards, and crop production into a sustainable, closed-loop system. Their regenerative farming methods prioritize soil health, biodiversity, and ecosystem balance by utilizing crops to produce milk, meat, and manure, creating a self-sustaining cycle that enhances efficiency and environmental health.

Sustainable Feed Production
They emphasize the well-being of their livestock, believing that happy cows are healthy and productive cows. Their cattle spend the majority of their days grass-grazing, complemented by a diverse diet tailored to their specific biology, that's 90% sourced directly from the farm. By grazing on local crops and vegetation that would otherwise go to waste, the cattle play a crucial role in the sustainable cycle. This approach not only reduces reliance on external feed sources but also minimizes the carbon footprint associated with transportation.

Innovative Waste Management
They utilizes a water filtration system that employs worms to process cow manure and urine. This system filters wastewater, producing clean water for crop irrigation and creating nutrient-rich worm castings to replenish the soil.
