About Us
Fruits and Veggies Farm Collective was born from a simple but powerful idea: that farming should be sustainable not just for the land, but for the people who grow the food. What started in 2023 as a small pop-up market at Flora Bakehouse has quickly grown into a collective effort to build a more resilient and farmer-centered way of growing and sharing produce. With over 40 years of combined farming experience, our team—Ari of Kamayan Farm, Chloe and Martie of Long Way Farm, and Emma of Rising Sign Farm—is committed to growing high-quality vegetables while building a farm model that sustains both farmers and the communities we serve.
At Fruits and Veggies, we’re not just growing food; we’re reimagining what farming can be. By working together, we aim to increase farmer pay, reduce burnout, and foster a more sustainable livelihood for those who feed our communities.

Practices
Soil Health
We know that our soil is the foundation of our ecosystem and strive to nourish it through crop rotations, minimal tillage, cover crops, and compost.
Pest and Weed Management
We use hand and mechanical weeding as well as mulch to manage weeds. We employ techniques such as crop rotation, interplanting, pollinator plants, and row cover to manage pests and diseases. We never use synthetic sprays to control disease, weeds, or pests.
Organic and Sustainable Growing Methods
Our farms follow Organic and Certified Naturally Grown practices, meaning you will never find synthetic inputs on our farms. We prioritize purchasing certified organic seeds that are open-pollinated and grown in the Pacific Northwest whenever possible.
Environmental Responsibility
We limit single use plastic as much as possible during production and distribution.
