Producer
AG Family Farm is one of few fruit orchards in the Quincy, WA area. AG grows apricots, peaches and donut peaches, nectarines, plums, and other stone fruit. Owner and orchardist Arturo has owned the acreage just outside Quincy since 1998. He sells to customers at area farmers market, and we at Farmstand are excited to link with him to make AG's product more accessible to wholesale buyers in the area and retail customers who do not have good access to the farmers markets Arturo attends (namely Columbia City and Lake City).
Arturo and his team take care of his trees like family. On particularly cold snaps when blooming and/or fruiting is critically risky, Arturo will provide heat throughout the orchards to avoid frost damage. He planted the trees himself and knows his soil and species from "birth" of his trees in Quincy.
AG Family Farm was certified organic until ~2024, in which the farm decided to lessen their administrative burden but continue the same practices, so AG is no longer certified organic. Grower Arturo welcomes questions about growing practices at farmers' markets (when not too busy :) and takes pride in his transparency with customers.
