About Us
Farm Fresh Northwest is owned and operated by Mark and Brooke Lathim. Our family business is rooted in tradition, with Marks father raising cattle on our farm in Eastern Washington, while we raise pigs at our place in Stanwood. Mark represents the fifth generation to grow up on the family farm, located 30 miles north of Pasco along the Snake River which has been in our family since it was originally homesteaded in 1904 by Grandma Anita’s grandparents.

Our family's legacy is rich with agricultural achievements. My grandparents' bookshelf was filled with trophies won by my uncles, aunt, and dad in 4-H and FFA during the '60s, '70s, and '80s. While Grandpa had excelled in breeding cattle, his success with hogs was even more remarkable. This continued with my sisters, cousins, and me throughout the '90s and early 2000s, as we raised many champions at county fairs and the Puyallup and Moses Lake Spring Shows. This legacy has established generations of expertise in proper pork nutrition, animal handling, and pork growth that you can’t replicate or find anywhere else.
Practices
Our beef is pasture-raised, enjoying grass or grass hay, and finished with both grass and non-GMO grain for optimal marbling, ensuring the meat grades choice or prime. We dry age the entire carcass for 21 days, a rarity in Western Washington. Our pigs thrive by rooting in the dirt, absorbing essential minerals, and experiencing less stress, which results in more flavorful meat. We provide them with high-quality protein feed, ensuring faster growth compared to those raised on scraps or cheap feed. Additionally, our animals are raised without hormones or antibiotics and are fed non-GMO feed, so you know exactly what you're putting into your body.
