Chris started the original Windy Acre Farm in Enumclaw, WA when he was 15 years old. As the farm evolved so did his thinking about food and how it was grown. He started to understand how important it was to grow fresh food for the local community.
Fast forward to 2016: Cameron joined the team. Cameron grew up in a small farming town in south-central Washington. He participated in 4-H there, raising dairy and meat goats to show at the local county fair. Vegetable production is a new adventure but he is ready to learn.
Windy Acre Farm grows to the organic standards. They are working towards getting more certifications as they adjust to their new property, which is still located in the Kent Valley.
